This is a story about college athletes who are fighting for their dreams, experiencing and finding love in the process, and growing every step of the way.

College-Athlete Kim Bok Joo (Lee Sung-Kyung) is a passionate woman-weightlifter who doesn’t care about what others think of her. Her one focus is to get a gold medal and make herself and her family proud. One day Bok Joo reconnects with an old friend, Jung Joon Hyung (Nam Joo-Hyuk) who is a swimmer at the same college. When Bok Joo experiences her first love, Joon Hyung is watching and helping her from the sidelines without realizing his own feelings.

REACTION: (Times Watched: 3)
I freaking love this drama. It’s one of the funniest ones that I have ever watched. All of the characters
are hilarious and bring their own unique charm to this story. Lee Sung-Kyung is one of my favorite
actresses. Her acting and facial expressions are absolutely one of a kind. Nam Joo-Hyuk is also
another great actor. They both truly embody their characters and put on a great performance
(Fun Fact: These two actors actually used to date).

There are a lot of inspirational meanings within this drama. They bring every aspect of what it means
to be a college athlete. From stereotypes (women weightlifters aren’t women) to the stress and
mental issues that athletes go through. All of these meanings can be found beyond the two main
characters.

I don’t want to spoil anything but the relationship that the two main characters have is
ABSOLUTELY CUTE! Every time I watch them on the screen I can’t help but smile.

ALSO, the Lil’ John “WHAT!?” sound effect that they use is hilarious.
(You have to watch it to know what I mean).

HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO:
  • Anyone who is in college
  • Anyone who does a sport that others might find not to fit your gender
  • Anyone who has ever experienced a one-sided love
  • Anyone who likes to genuinely laugh
FAVORITE SONG FROM OST:
“From Now On” by Kim Min Seung is my favorite song from the OST. It was typically used during
a montage or really cute moments. The song is really light and upbeat. When you hear it you can
help but feel happy or excited.

Honorable Mention: “Dream” by Han Hee Jung
