Korean Movies

Korean Films have always been around. But it wasn't until a few years ago that they made an impact in the US. Obviously Korea is more known for their dramas, but I think that they are starting to make a statement/name for themselves with movies.

Of course there are the popular movies (i.e. Parasite) that made a huge break through in the US for Korean films, but there are many other great Korean films our there. You just need to put in a little effort to find them (or you can look here!).

I have only started watching Korean films. I am more into/used to dramas because the ~16 hours worth of content allows me to connect with the story and characters. But this doesn't mean that the movies are bad or anything, it is just my preference.

But still, Korean movies are a good start for newcomers who aren't used to the hour length episodes of a drama.
