SYNOPSIS:

Genius music composer Kang Han-Gyul (Lee Hyun-Woo) meets Yoon So-Rim (Joy), a talented high schooler. Under the secret identity of “K”, Kang Han-Gyul produces music for the popular rock band Crude Play. Through fateful meetings Yoon So-Rim pulls Han-Gyul closer with her beautiful voice and honesty. When Yoon So-Rim signs with the same record label as Crude Play, she begins to uncover Kang Han-Gyul’s lies.

REACTION:
I really, really like this drama. The story between the two main characters is interesting and
captivating. The way that Yoon So-Rim slowly begins to un-web Kang Han-Gyul’s lies is both beautiful and entertaining. Also, Yoon So-Rim's genuine heart and personality is really refreshing
to watch, especially after watching a drama with a lot of betrayal. That love that grows between the main characters definitely makes me giddy :)
This drama has many hidden messages within it and the best part is that they are not only surrounded
by the main characters. The supporting characters were developed very well by having to deal with
their own problems as individuals. They all played a crucial part in this drama.
The best part of this drama is the music aspect. I find dramas that have a music aspect to them
more fun and entertaining to watch.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO:
  • Anyone that loves music
  • Anyone that loves young love
  • Anyone who has someone close that has a lot of lies and wants to learn ways to uncover them

FAVORITE SONG FROM OST:
This OST is one of the coolest ones because the show is based in the music industry. So the
OST includes all original songs that were created within the story-line of the drama. And the
songs are sung by the actors themselves!

“Shiny Boy” by Joy is my ultimate favorite song from this OST. I am a huge fan of Joy and her
K-Pop group Red Velvet. So when I realized she was in this drama I knew that there was going
to be great music. Shiny Boy is a song that I play on blast anytime I am driving. I have definitely
been told by both my friends and family to stop scream-singing this song. :)

Honorable Mention: “In Your Eyes” by Crude Play, “Yeowooya” by Joy
